Designing this building was both challenging and rewarding. The cantilevered sections required precise engineering with reinforced concrete to balance aesthetics and stability. Integrating vertical greenery added extra load considerations, demanding recalibrated structural support. The open-plan layout necessitated wide-span beams and careful column placement to ensure seamless space and structural integrity.

Transforming an existing two-storey home into an elegant three-storey residence, as depicted in the project visualisation, presents a unique engineering challenge. The client has expressed a desire to retain the essence of their existing structure while enhancing its functionality and aesthetic appeal.

This ambitious renovation project required meticulous planning to ensure the structural integrity of the existing building is maintained while accommodating the additional load of the third floor. Leveraging innovative design techniques and a keen understanding of structural dynamics, I embarked on finding the optimal solution to transition a structure originally designed for two storeys into a robust and durable three-storey home.
